Johanna Chase-Weinrich
Yoga Instructor
I worked as a professional dancer in NYC for several years (I started dancing at the age of two, if you can believe that) and have been in the fitness industry in NYC for just as long. I am a 500-hour Yoga Teacher, hold several other fitness industry training credentials and still occasionally teach in NYC when I am up that way.
It is my goal for people to move to feel better about themselves and stay healthy. I want to be able to make people literally Sweat and Smile. This is why I created my brand SweatySmiles by Johanna. In order to stick with an exercise program, you have to enjoy it. Not everyone loves to exercise and I recognize that. If you are one of those people then hopefully you will find one of my classes so much fun that you forgot you were working out. Already love to exercise? Then the more intense classes are for you. Want your own personalized workout? Then personal yoga sessions might be best for you. Whatever your yoga needs might be. You came to the right place.

Joy has also led numerous Yoga Teacher Trainings over the years with many of those graduates across the country having a thriving following.
As of 2025, Dunnellon, FL is Joy’s new home. A 2022 Ayurvedic Practitioner graduate from the Ayurvedic Institute, Joy is a true believer that Ayurveda and Yoga are for EVERY body and that with steady practice, these ancient healing arts can heal the world through their beautiful and profound simplicity. She creates a safe atmosphere, whether you've been doing yoga/practicing Ayurveda for decades or are a tentative newbie.
