Join us for an evening of deep relaxation and renewal through Yin Yoga + Yoga Nidra, designed to release tension, restore balance, and quiet the mind.
This guided practice will prepare the body for total relaxation beginning with a gentle stretch followed by a guided meditation which will allow the student to wind down and release any tension stored in the body.
Gentle Yin Yoga postures are held for several minutes each, allowing the body to open and energy to flow freely. We’ll then transition into the Yoga Nidra, a guided “yogic sleep” meditation that invites profound rest and emotional release, with the power to take you to the innermost, deepest levels of relaxation where your whole body and being is permeated by peace of mind and profound stillness.
This session offers a bonus Sound Meditation on the following dates: 10/19, 11/16 & 12/28. The meditation will be accompanied by live instruments such as crystal singing bowls, chimes, or drums — to enhance the meditation journey.
Perfect for:
Anyone seeking stress relief, deeper self-connection, or a restorative way to end the week. No prior experience required.
Bring: A yoga mat, blanket, eye mask/pillow, bolster, or anything else they need for total comfort.

The postures are typically held for a set amount of time, and the sequence is practiced in a heated room to promote sweating and detoxification.

- Improve circulation and cardiovascular health
- Enhance respiratory and immune function
- Reduce stress and improve mental clarity
Guidance for each pose is provided throughout the 26&2 practice to help anyone new to the practice learn how to enter, hold and exit the pose, as well as to guide experienced practitioners to a stronger practice.

What is a vinyasa?
The word vinyasa comes from Sanskrit, an ancient Indian language. It means "to move in a special way" or "to place in a special way”. Vinyasas are a smooth transition between poses, often with the movement paired with the breath.

We will start by learning the classic movements of the Sun Salutations, and then we will practice executing them with proper form and alignment. We will also learn how to transition through the Sun Salutations to link movement and poses with fluidity. Begin to build confidence in your ability to build vinyasa in your practice.
This class is a perfect prequel to Thursday's Vigorous Vinyasa Flow class at 5:35 pm.
