Ancient wisdom. Practical tools. Real-life balance.
This immersive half-day retreat condenses the core teachings of the Perfect Health – Ayurveda series into a thoughtfully paced, engaging, and experiential 4-hour experience. Designed to be both educational and immediately applicable, this retreat blends interactive lecture, guided practices, discussion, and sensory exploration so participants leave feeling informed, empowered, and refreshed—not overwhelmed (Ayurveda believes in balance, after all).
The retreat is taught using a projected slide deck, and all materials will be emailed to participants afterward—saving trees and tote bags everywhere.
This retreat weaves together five essential pillars of Ayurvedic living:
Understanding your unique mind-body constitution
Eating to support digestion, energy, and balance
Emotional wellbeing and conscious communication
Healing through the senses (your built-in inner pharmacy)
Creating daily routines that align with nature
Throughout the retreat, participants will experience:
Short guided meditations and breathing practices
Interactive discussions and self-reflection
Experiential sensory practices (taste, scent, movement)
Practical tools that can be used immediately at home
We begin with an overview of Ayurveda as a personalized, preventative system of health. Participants will learn about the multidimensional nature of life, the five elements, and the three doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha). Optional Prakruti and Vikruti quizzes will help participants identify their personal constitution and current imbalances.
Format: Interactive lecture + experiential self-assessment
This session explores digestion as the foundation of health. Participants will learn about the six tastes, how herbs and spices support digestion, how color impacts vitality, and how to eat mindfully. A tasting experience brings the six tastes to life, along with practical grocery and meal-planning guidance.
Format: Brief meditation + lecture + experiential tasting
Emotions are powerful—and Ayurveda doesn’t suggest ignoring them. This segment covers emotional wellbeing, core emotional needs, conscious communication, and practical techniques for clearing emotional stress. Participants will experience a guided visualization and journaling practice to release emotional toxins and restore energy flow.
Format: Meditation, visualization, partnered reflection, and lecture
This session introduces sensory healing—using sound, touch, sight, taste, smell, and even laughter as medicine. Participants will explore dosha-balancing sensory tools, including essential oils, colors, and self-soothing practices. (All scent experiences are optional, and allergies will be checked beforehand.)
Format: Meditation/breathwork + lecture + sensory exploration
We close by bringing everything together through daily routines aligned with nature. Topics include the dosha clock, seasonal living, sleep, gentle detox practices, mindful movement, and pranayama. Participants will learn how to create a simple, realistic daily routine using practices like tongue cleaning, self-massage, breathwork, and mindful movement.
Format: Lecture with optional movement, breathing, and group reflection
Anyone curious about Ayurveda but unsure where to start
Those feeling overwhelmed by wellness trends and craving simplicity
Individuals looking for practical, sustainable tools for health and balance
Humans who eat food, have emotions, and live in a body (so… everyone)
Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of their unique nature, concrete tools to support health and wellbeing, and a renewed sense of clarity—without needing to overhaul their entire life by Monday morning.
Come curious. Leave balanced. ✨

This series is ideal for anyone seeking a grounded, approachable, and deeply practical introduction to mindfulness—no prior meditation experience required. Come curious, leave more present.
This interactive, discussion-based series blends mindful education with real-life application. Each class combines guided instruction, engaging conversation, and experiential practices designed to help participants integrate mindfulness into their everyday lives—not just on the mat, but at work, at home, and everywhere in between.
Classes are taught in an interactive lecture format using slides and/or printed workbooks. Participants are invited into thoughtful dialogue through guided questions that help them personally connect the material to their own experiences. The curriculum draws from the three pillars of effective mindfulness, gratitude practices, sensory awareness, and foundational elements of Buddhist philosophy.
Each session includes:
A guided group meditation
Reflection surveys and experiential discussions
Practical tools that can be applied immediately to daily life
Participants are encouraged to maintain a consistent at-home meditation practice throughout the series and reflect on how these practices influence their awareness, emotions, and habits over time.
This introductory class focuses on belly breathing with awareness. Participants will explore mindful vision—learning to slow down and truly notice what they see throughout the week.
At-home practice: 5 minutes of daily meditation.
Building on breath awareness, this class introduces awareness of critical thoughts and explores sound as a gateway to deeper presence. We’ll discuss silence, stillness, and becoming comfortable with inner quiet.
At-home practice: Increase to 7 minutes of daily meditation.
Participants will practice noticing scents without judgment and meeting each experience with equanimity. This class also introduces gratitude as a daily practice, with encouragement to begin a gratitude journal.
At-home practice: Increase to 10 minutes of daily meditation.
This session emphasizes mindful eating—slowing down, noticing flavors, and becoming sensitive to subtle variations in taste. Participants will explore how presence can transform everyday routines.
At-home practice: Increase to 12 minutes of daily meditation.
Awareness of physical sensation takes center stage as participants practice observing the body without judgment and discovering rest within awareness.
At-home practice: Increase to 15 minutes of daily meditation.
The final class focuses on present-moment awareness and noticing the space between thoughts. Participants will explore posture as a mindfulness anchor and a powerful tool for reconnecting to the present moment.
